April Lockhart
April Lockhart born 4 July 1995. She started the guitar and piano lessons in the 7th grade, which ignited her interest. At the age of seven April started taking guitar and piano lessons. This ignited her interest in writing songs. When she was 14 April, she spent a lot of time writing songs and honed her music abilities. The songwriting began alongside her father at home in NY and LA within a short time. April also began to include other related topics for some of her classmates who struggle with issues such as bullying by peers and teen suicide in the song"Take my Hand. Lockhart collaborates with famous cosmetics brand Ilia as well as a lifestyle influencer who has a growing fan base. The disability she has is part of her persona, however it is not the whole picture. Lockhart's Twitter profile does not shy away from her status as disabled and does not concentrate on the fact that she is disabled. The message is? The message? We each contain multitudes, that our identities and physical bodies aren't what appear. Lockhart is interviewed through video from Nashville. "I do not intend to let it define my existence. I'm not looking to only be recognized as an expert in disabilities. But it does not affect my everyday routine. I do the normal things and have adapted to my disability. Since it's a my identity, it's something that's worth talking about. Lockhart, a real inspiration for self-acceptance in general she is on a long road to reach this. Yet, she confesses to going through periods that made her feel uncomfortable about her appearance as well as wearing clothes with arms. Nowadays, she dresses anything she likes and uploads images of her outfits to social networks with a sense of pride. One of the keys to self-love for her is that it's not a place to go. This is, however, common for anyone with doubts. The people you surround yourself with who truly know your personal story and who can look into your heart are the ones you should be relying on to help you remember what you're concerned about.
